UPDATE (Jun 27): Since posting this I’ve heard from some contacts in Alaska who firmly disagree with CNN’s assessment that “most of the Exxon Valdez oil spill workers are dead.” There are quite a few who have died, and there was one ship in particular on which everyone died. It was called the “death ship” locally. More >
